Kelsie Malone

My name is Kelsie Malone and I was born and raised in Alamogordo, New Mexico. I graduated from Alamogordo High School in May of 2016 and I am now attending freshmen at the University of New Mexico. My major is radiologic science. When I was 2 years old, I lost my dad to a work-related accident. My brother and sister are both recipients of this scholarship, which allows the three of us to attend college. My older sister just graduated from UNM and received her degree in political science. This scholarship provided amazing opportunities for me and my siblings and took a load off my mother’s shoulders. The Toby Wright Scholarship helps me pay for my books, meal plan, class fees, parking permit, housing, and so much more! There are not enough words to express my gratitude.
